Meet Kristin
Hello and Welcome!
I’m Kristin, and along with my sweet friend Debbie we will be your co-anchors here at Head Over Heels Mommies!
I am so blessed to be the proud Mommy to Isabelle who is soon to be 2 already. I am 34 (yikes!) and work full time outside of the home as a Food & Nutrition Advisor – Dietitian.
I love being Isabelle’s Mommy, but without being the best “me” that I can be, I can’t be the best “mommy” to her. To me, this is where friends, family and networking are extremely valuable. I have found so many great ways to be the best I can for those in my life and with patience and love, I would love for you to find that here. My husband and I also have a 9 year old Labrador Retriever who was the “baby” for nearly seven years, until his world and ours changed dramatically with the arrival of Isabelle!
Even though the dog has adjusted, sometimes I feel like the old dog who is being taught new tricks! The new tricks of course come in the form of a smart and sassy little girl who I adore with all of my heart. I have learned more patience in the last two years of my life, than in all of the 34 I’ve lived. Being a full time working parent poses many challenges on its own, and sometimes a nice steamy side order of Mommy guilt is included! Yum!
I am so thrilled to welcome you to our site, and hope that you find just what you are looking for here, even if it just a five minute break from “baby-talk”! I am a totally “Head Over Heels mommy” just trying to juggle my family, my career, my life and my loves.

Blowing out the 1st birthday candle!
And at the end of the day, I feel it is so necessary to have focused on the positives in my life to have my heart at peace. I am thankful for every moment I share with Isabelle. . . yes every one. Although parenting includes laughter and struggles, there is a lesson in every moment. And every moment is precious in its own way!
